About Seafood Cove 2

Chinese Seafood and Dim Sum restaurant

Seafood Cove 2 is a chinese restaurant in Westminster, California. It is listed at 9211 Bolsa Ave Ste 106, Westminster, CA 92683, which places it among the local businesses of Westminster that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under dim sum restaurant, seafood restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Westminster; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in California are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8:30 am–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Seafood Cove 2 at (714) 893-1976; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, seafood-cove.com.

Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 2,407 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded chinese restaurants in Westminster.

Had a great experience at Seafood Cove #2! For not having to drive to SGV for the really good dimsum, this place is pretty great! When we arrived there was a moderate amount of people waiting but wait wasn't as long as I thought it would be! We waited about 15 min for a party of 6 at 10 am on a Sunday. The service is friendly, a lot of younger staff. Most of the dim sum is ordered from the menu, only the steamed noodles are ordered from the cart. I do miss the cart and being able to see and choose what we wanted. The food came out very fast and was very fresh! Everything tasted amazing. I loved the turnip cake, football, shui mai, and chicken feet the most! But it was all delicious. It definitely hit the dim sum cravings.

OG dim sum place, very classic. There are people pushing carts around, and you can also order off the menu. We had to wait for an hour, but you can go on Yelp to get a place in line. They also provide water while you're waiting. We had: - shrimp dumplings - turnip cake - rice wrapped in lotus leaf - beef chow fun The dishes were good, and we liked the staff. We would go back.

Food was amazing. Lucky us, we had the incredible local Pink Huge Shrimp 🦐!! Even you order it, without right season, you won’t taste it. It was fresh, sweet and chewy! Crab 🦀 with curry is a must order! You definitely get Umami and a bit kick from the curry sauce, we dipped the last drop of the sauce by the France Bugette; Beef was very tender; stir fry Vegetable was hard to chew, that was a little bit disappointing; Fried rice was everyone’s favorite; the desert was unique but comfort you at the end, because it was green beans with tapioca, and seaweed inside. General speaking all the dishes were great! The servers were very friendly, they cared all 8 of us. They did sharing dishes; changing new plates; adding hot water, bringing more napkins. They were great! We go to this restaurant while we are there from East Coast. Definitely will go again and again.

My first time here, and will definitely be coming back. This is one of the best seafood dinners I have had in a long time. Dishes are very fresh and cooked to perfection. They season all the dishes very well. The service here is extremely good. They are friendly, attentive, and very helpful with recommendations. The place is very clean. Excellent!!

Everything here is so good — definitely an OG dim sum spot! 🥢 The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistent every time I visit. You can tell they’ve been doing this for years and really know what they’re doing. The only downside is the wait times can get pretty long, especially on weekends, but honestly, it’s worth it. If you don’t feel like waiting, you can always order through DoorDash and enjoy their dim sum from home — it’s just as delicious! You can also check in on Yelp to get an idea of the wait before you go. Can’t wait to come back again soon!
